Delta Diabetes Center

The Delta Diabetes Center (DDC), established in 1999, is a resource that specializes in diabetes management and education. The focus of the DDC is to assist in the ongoing management and care of diabetes, and to prevent or halt the debilitating complications associated with diabetes. We achieve this by providing diabetes education, community programs and outreach.

Endocrinology is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the endocrine system. The endocrine system is comprised of a system of glands, each of which secretes a type of hormone to regulate the body. Hormones regulate many of your functions, including metabolism, mood, growth and development, and tissue function.
