With Open Enrollment quickly approaching, we will be hosting informational meetings regarding the benefit offerings and the new benefit plans we will be implementing this year.  Meetings will be held on Wednesday, November 28^th, Thursday, November 29^th and Friday, November 30^th from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM and are outlined below.

For the Medical and Dental plans, the plan designs will remain essentially unchanged, but there may be some questions from plan participants in light of the acquisition of FMG by SFMC, which is currently excluded from our plan.  These meetings will be an opportunity for you to hear more about the plan and ask questions to ensure that you are clear on the plan design and how best to utilize your benefits.  Your benefits are just that…benefits.  We are fortunate to have great benefits here at MDMC and ensuring that everyone is clear on how best to use the plan to minimize cost helps ensure that we maintain great benefits and low premiums.

Additionally, we will be introducing a new wellness program through PHMP.  There will be meetings held hourly to allow employees an opportunity to hear more about the program and the benefits it has to offer.

Outlined below are the meeting times and locations for each Benefit Carrier:

Basement Classroom

HealthSCOPE hourly meetings beginning at 7:00 AM ending at 11:00 AM and again from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Colonial – Representatives available from 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.  Employees can drop by at any time to discuss benefit offerings

Hux Room

MetLife – Representatives will be available from 7:00 AM -4:00 PM.  Employee can drop by at any time during those hours to discuss the Dental plan offerings.  They will also be available to introduce a new voluntary product offering for Home and Auto coverage.

Barton Room 

PHMP – New Wellness program – hourly meetings beginning at 7:00 AM ending at 10:00 AM and again from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
