Here at Missouri Delta, we are always finding new ways to give back to our community. Our hospital would not be successful without our staff, volunteers, and our patients.
Community Events
At MDMC we always strive to give back to the community. We love when members of the community come together to volunteer their time and support our patients.
At MDMC we want to inform and promote healthy practices in our community.
It is important for us to create new jobs in the community. We currently have more than 700 employees. Missouri Delta is always looking for more ways to expand and more areas to serve. We have job fairs to inform potential employees of our mission.

MDMC takes part in IRT (Innovative Readiness Training) every two years. This mobile field hospital is a part of Operation Healthy Delta that provides no cost basic health care screenings in Southeast Missouri.
Our hospital staff participates in parades throughout the area.
- Benton Neighbor Day Parade
- Cotton Carnival Parade
- Charleston Parade
- Dogwood Azalea Festival Parade
- Sikeston’s Christmas Parade
- Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo Parade
MDMC loves the traditions of Sikeston. The Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo occurs every year and we are proud to be a part of the festivities in whatever way we can. We participate in the Rodeo parade and have lunch with the Rodeo clowns every year.
We offer support groups for members of our community.
- Grief Support Group
- Parkinson’s Support Group – Every 2:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month, the Coleman Room at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston welcomes individuals and/or their caregivers.
Our Volunteers are the first people that you see when you walk through our front door. They volunteer their time to help get patients and visitors where they need to go. They are also the ones that deliver the e-cards that family and friends can send to patients through our website. We love our Volunteers!
