Community Health Needs Assessment
Missouri Delta Medical Center is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve. As a not-for-profit hospital, we are required to conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) every three years for the geographic area from which a significant number of patients using MDMC services reside. The primary service area for Missouri Delta is based on the number of inpatient discharges and emergency department visits since September 2019 and resulted in Mississippi County, New Madrid County, & Scott County being the geographic areas we focused on for the 2022 Community Health Needs Assessment and Implementation Plan.
Our CHNA comprises the most current health data available, demographics and input from numerous community representatives. The assessment is presented to and approved by the Hospital Board of Directors before being published to the general public. Missouri Delta Medical Center will utilize the most recent plan as a guide to offer programs that support the health of the community and the mission of our organization.
