Our state-of-the-art audiology soundproof booth is designed to eliminate ambient noise, providing an optimal environment for the accurate assessment and diagnosis of hearing loss and related disorders across a wide age range. Within the booth, we utilize a tympanometer to assess middle ear function by applying pressure, which helps in diagnosing and ruling out various hearing-related conditions.

The booth is equipped with Otoacoustic Emissions (OAEs) technology, enabling us to objectively measure inner ear responses to sounds across a range of frequencies. This test is commonly used in state-mandated Newborn Hearing Screening programs to assess the hearing abilities of newborns and can also be used for patients who may be unable to participate in traditional hearing tests.

We utilize the Verifit 2 system to precisely assess hearing aid output tailored to each patient’s individual ear. This is crucial, as acoustic performance varies from one ear to another. Together, these advanced tools allow us to thoroughly evaluate hearing capabilities and ensure the most appropriate recommendations and referrals, particularly when it comes to hearing aids.
