Student Sports Medicine Program
Kyle Lemarr, MS, ATC, LAT, the athletic trainer at Sikeston High School, is proud to introduce a new opportunity for students interested in healthcare and athletics through the Student Sports Medicine Program. Participants are gaining hands-on experience in areas such as taping wrists and ankles, providing first aid, and learning the basics of sports medicine care. Just as important, they are also developing lifelong skills like communication, teamwork, and time management while working alongside athletes, coaches, and medical professionals. Now in its first full year, this program has already made an impact on both the students involved and the athletes they serve.
