The Dexter Community Care Center originally opened as a specialty clinic, offering professional healthcare services such as surgery and nephrology. We then recognized the need for primary care in the area and established the clinic as a rural health facility in 2016. Hollie Wheeler (Conner), Family Nurse Practitioner, was hired to meet those primary care needs. The clinic continues to provide specialty care, such as Behavioral Health, Urology and Surgery.
