Each year, the Missouri Delta Foundation holds an uplifting luncheon to raise money earmarked specifically for breast health. This event features a guest speaker, lunch, raffles, and special attention to breast cancer survivors who have fought the battle against cancer and won. We will hold our 2023 Breast Cancer Luncheon on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 12pm at First Christian Church! Please submit the form below to purchase your tickets or to sponsor a table!

Focused on the Future of Healthcare

Since its inception in 2011, the Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon has raised thousands of dollars to go toward many breast health initiatives at Missouri Delta, such as free mammograms to un-insured or under insured, new 3D mammography unit, stereotactic addition to 3D mammography unit for biopsies, smart curve paddles and updated software and plush robes for patients comfort.

2022 Breast Cancer Luncheon

Missouri Delta Foundation was glad to be able to host the popular Breast Cancer Luncheon again after a 2 year pause due to COVID-19. We had a gymnasium full of women and men who intently listened to Courtney Kennedy, Womens Health Midwest Specialist with Hologic, discuss the importance of receiving your annual mammogram and shared details about our Hologic Genius 3Dimensions system. Missouri Delta is the only hospital in the region with this highest resolution technology and one of only 2 in the state of Missouri. This is all in appreciation to an extremely generous, anonymous donor.

VFW Event – Effie Loves Elvis

Sikeston VFW Post 3174 graciously hosted Effie Love Elvis in October, featuring Terry Phillips as Elvis. Thanks to the VFW, Melissa Ozment and those that donated items to the raffle, the VFW donated $5,000 to the Missouri Delta Mammography Center. The money raised will assist women who are underinsured and/or uninsured to receive a mammogram, as well as assist our Mammography Technicians and Radiologist with the latest training.
