Dedicated to the Communities We Serve

Missouri Delta Medical Center (MDMC) is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve. As a not-for-profit hospital, we are required to conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) every three years for the geographic area from which a significant number of patients using MDMC services reside. We have recently completed our 2022 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and are now working on an Implementation Plan to address the significant needs identified in the 2022 CHNA. The primary service area for MDMC was based on the number of inpatient discharges and emergency department visits since September 2019 and resulted in Mississippi County, New Madrid County, & Scott County being the geographic area we focused on. The Implementation Plan will be completed and ready for review by January 15th 2023.

Our CHNA comprises the most current health data available, demographics and input from numerous community representatives. The assessment was presented to and approved by the Hospital Board of Directors on August 9th, 2022. Missouri Delta Medical Center will utilize this 2022 plan as a guide over the next three years to offer programs that support the health of the community and the mission of our organization.
