Volunteer at Missouri Delta Medical Center
As a Missouri Delta Medical Center volunteer, you will be an essential part of our team, working to create a compassionate healing environment for our patients and their families. We are ranked #1 in the state of Missouri in Patient Experience and that is in part to the generous help of our volunteers. In 2013, more than 48 active volunteers donated 8,354 hours of their time and talent. Individual hours contributed in 2013 ranged from 6 hours to 494 hours.
Projects such as bake sales, book sales, jewelry sales and scrubs sales raise money that is donated to the Missouri Delta Foundation. Such projects have helped with the purchase of dialysis equipment, baby changing stations in the restrooms, landscaping, wheelchairs, medical scholarships, and furniture for the front lobby and ICU/surgery waiting areas.
